About Us We believe that all the Baptized, through the Covenant made between God and themselves at their Baptism, are commissioned by Christ to serve him through the ministries which he gives them in all the spheres of their daily life. We believe that the Church should support these ministries as the primary expression of Christian ministry. Our vision is that all the Baptized will grow into the vocation and ministry given them at their Baptism and that the Church will equip and nurture them in their vocations as the Baptized in the world. Our mission is to join with others in reclaiming the centrality of Baptism in the life of the Church and the life of every Christian through providing a multifaceted effort to support, encourage, enhance, and equip congregations and individuals in the ministry and vocation of the Baptized. While the Episcopal / Anglican Church is our primary mission, we welcome and share with all Christians. |
This site will be under continual change. Please bear with us as we grow it.

Organizing Our Our mission is going to be carried out through seven centers of activity: Interaction: Providing network partners a place to contribute to the wisdom as well as receive from the gathered resources. A place for grass roots programs, resources and curricula to be lifted up, shared, discussed and built upon. Consulting: Providing the leadership of parishes and church bodies with consultation on ways and means of enhancing Baptismal living. Clearing House: Providing a central place for accumulating and sharing information focused on Baptism and Baptismal living within the ecumenical Christian Community: curricula, conferences, publications, etc. of organizations and denominations. Resource: Providing curricula / programs and materials for Baptismal preparation sessions, continuing formation, recognition, and support. Research: Providing dialogue and studies on historical, liturgical, and contemporary thinking about Baptism and Baptismal Living. Training: Providing educational opportunities both at the center, on site at other locations, and internet distance learning. Liturgics: Providing a think-tank to accumulate, assimilate and share the many liturgical practices evolving within the wider Church; partner within the Episcopal / Anglican Church for revisions of the Baptismal Liturgy, and assist other denominations with theirs.

Our Front Page was created by graphic artist, Roger Clark. Its cross is joined by a dove and drop of oil coming out of a chrism vessel, all set in the waters of Baptism. |
